One cause, 18 riders and the big RideLondon challenge

After months of training, 18 fantastic cyclists took on the challenge of the Prudential RideLondon Surrey 100 on Sunday 31st July to raise funds for Love Kingston.

Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the event followed a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside, passing twice through the heart of Kingston.

Congratulations to all riders that took part. RideLondon raised several thousand pounds for Love Kingston, with one cyclist Ed Balcomb surpassing his fundraising target with help from his company’s Corporate Generosity Matching programme.

Ed said, “On 31 July I was proud to take part in the Prudential Ride London 100 mile event in aid of Love Kingston. I completed the challenge in 5 hours, exceeded my target and raised £1,127.34. Thanks to everyone who donated - your money helped to turn the pedals and will make a difference to those in need in Kingston.”

A huge thanks also goes to our team’s local business sponsors, Omnilocal Business Networking Kingston, Databac and CNM Estates.
